The short version of how ordering, shipping, and live sales work here. The word-for-word fine print lives on the policies page.
Everything in the shop came off my benches in Columbus, GA. Every individual listing is one specific plant, photographed as-is - when it sells, it is gone from the page. Add to cart, check out through Shopify's checkout, and your order leaves on the next ship day. Add everything to one cart and you pay one shipping charge. Afterpay and Klarna are available at checkout, and payment plans are available on larger purchases - reach out.
Orders go out Monday and Tuesday. That is deliberate - a plant boxed on a Thursday sits in a depot over the weekend, and nobody wins that one. Order any day; it ships the next Monday or Tuesday. Options are UPS Ground, UPS 2-day air, and overnight, with rates calculated at checkout. Tracking is emailed when your box leaves.
When temperatures here, at your address, or along the route put a plant at risk, ground shipping comes off the menu entirely and every order ships 2-day air or overnight with a 72-hour heat pack and insulation included. The fare difference is usually $5-10, and it is the difference between a live plant and a dead one. I will not ship a plant into weather it cannot survive - I would rather hold a box a few days.
Yes, on 2-day air and overnight. If your plant does not arrive alive and in good shape, message me within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the plant and the packaging, and I will make it right - a replacement where one exists, a refund where one does not. Ground is offered in warm months for the budget-minded, but transit time on ground is out of my hands, so the guarantee does not cover ground. The full details live on the policies page.
Most of my inventory moves through live sales on PalmStreet. Follow @JustinGurski there for schedules and first pick. I also post in Facebook aroid groups when something is available. Most plants ship the same week. Between live sales, new plants land on the shop page.
Grower's choice means you pick the size and I pick the plant - something healthy, interesting, and worth growing. I stand behind every pick, but which plant goes in the box is the deal you signed up for: no returns or exchanges on the selection. The healthy-arrival guarantee still applies in full.
Every order I ship goes out with free seeds, and has for about 2000 boxes running. It is a thank-you, not a line item, so treat it as a nicety rather than a guarantee. Grow them, use them as bird feed, try to make Anthurium popcorn. Your choice - they are your problem once they land.
Yes - local pickup is free in Columbus, GA. Select it at checkout and I will message you to arrange a time.
