about this plant
vittariifolium. vittariifolium. Did you know there's a double-ii in the middle of the species name? No one ever sees or pronounces it. Anthurium vittariifolium.
Anyway this is A. vittariifolium. It has long thin belt-like leaves, like all representatives of the species do. I have bought many through the years but only a few ever stay around to breed with. They self readily and all basically look the same - with more variegates floating around than you might expect, given the disposition to selfing. This photo was summer 2022 I think; the plant is still going strong despite a rat attack shortly after the pic was taken - they ate the berries and chews the petioles clean off. Fuckers
