I grew up in the Tampa Bay area. It was easy to take the natural beauty of Florida for granted - as a kid, the abundance of native splendor rarely outweighed the overwhelming heat and assault from sedan-sized mosquitoes. But after leaving the state I found that I missed the flora of the sub-tropics - the banana trees, palm fronds, and unique plants that are able to thrive in Florida. A life-changing trip to Ecuador in 2019 and the relentless reminder of death that came with the COVID pandemic reminded me of the connection to nature I used to enjoy, and re-fueled my appreciation for the natural world.

And thus, fuzzy petioles llc was born. Our mission is to bring beautiful aroids and ornamentals to the homes and places where they otherwise couldn't get to. We are local to Columbus, GA for now and ship all over the county.
