Anthurium "Justin" [(crystallinum x magnificum) x subsignatum] x besseae aff

Seed parent for this one comes from Tezula, and was originally hybridized by Justin Shuman. I bought it from Tezula a few years ago as it was dubbed 'Anthurium 'Justin''. It's a very handsome plant with variable traits, sub-velvet and dagger-y, and with deep blood red emergent leaves that develop into sort of an oxidized copper as it hardens before going green. The pollen parent is a vibrant, large and vigorous besseae aff.

Seedlings are already showing interesting emergent color, lime-green with tinges of red on the veins. Some with flatter sinuses. Who knows how they will develop as they mature but they are sure to be beautiful.

These seedlings are a few months old, working on their 3rd/4th leaves and selected for vigor. Parents pictured here as well as an example seedling. Well-rooted in 3" pots.
